Job Requirements & Duties

  • Monitor different stock markets and economies around the world to see how different commodities are doing
  • Talk to clients to make suggestions about where they should invest their money
  • Buy and sell stocks on behalf of clients 
  • Negotiate prices and specifics about different goods
  • Read articles to interpret the directions that different markets may go
  • Monitor different customers’ portfolios and communicate how they are doing and what steps they should take

Education & Training

  • A university degree in economics, statistics, or another business-related area is required.
