Job Requirements & Duties

  • Set up and clean equipment that is used in experiments
  • Collect and organize specimens and samples from farmers
  • Do scientific tests on samples like tissues and foods
  • Carry out experimental procedures like sample collections and analysis
  • Do calculations using math and prepare graphs with data
  • Help write lab reports to summarize the results of the tests and experiments

Education & Training

  • A university degree in laboratory science or a related field is required for this position
